Logo intial ideas

With these two logos what I did was an abstract logo which is a symbol or a shape that would represent a company in my case a band but i felt that it didnt really look to go to be a logo. The other one I did on the right is a lettermark logo which is a typography logo that spells out the company in this case the band and the band being the killers.

Packaging analysis

Mt first reaction this piece of work was that it looks a bit plain a bit boring but when you realise who the target audience is and what the product actually is, you realise that it fits well with the product so their for isnt a bad design.
Its not really a bad this its more of a album with loads of bands on it which is the football product, the jakebox is just a CD packaging and no band goes with it and the other box is a nokia box which is a phone company.
Jakob skarin made these three products and with him he has a very different style but yet it stays with his product design as he goes on and makes them which is a really good thing .
The sort of people who would listern to a football song CD would be those who go down to watch games on a regular basses so I would say the target audience is middle-aged men or young adults. The text and the imagery for what I can see on this CD cover is very in your face text its serposted to be loud and get the message across and the imagery is just people playing football and a grassy background to relate to the football theme.
This work shows off a lot of different folding techniques which I may look into to use for my own work, so in my opinon this work is good not the best CD packageing Ive seen though but good and has shown me that I can use many different techniques when folding together my work.
